World Tool has introduced a self-adjusting ratchet wrench that combines a ratchet wrench with an adjustable wrench.  Turning the dial on the back of the head increases or decreases the calipers and eliminates the need for a wide array of attachments.

The down side of course is that the calipers can only extend so wide.
