Throwbacks of yester-year products are becoming popular.  We’ve seen Polaroid re-intoducing there instant camera.  In an unusual move, LG has introduced a retro-styled TV set with a cathode ray tube (CRT) in the form of the 14-inch Serie 1 Retro Classic TV.

The set sports detachable chrome legs, an extendable “rabbit-ear” antenna and knobs for changing channels and adjusting the volume. Despite its old display, it holds a modern digital tuner and composite video inputs, 4:3 aspect ratio and a wireless remote control.

Keeping with the retro theme, the LG 14-inch Serie 1 Retro Classic TV can be switched to show black and white colors or a sepia tone… in addition to color of course.  LG thus far has plans only to sell the TV in Korea, in either orange or dark brown, priced at around $215. (www.lg.com)
