Starting October 28th, Apple’s iPad will be available at Verizon Wireless retail locations. The Wi-Fi model will be bundled with a MiFi 2200 and cost $20/month for 1GB of data usage. The U.S. patent and trademark office has granted Apple, Inc. a trademark for their familiar “there’s an app for that” App Store slogan. The filing was initially made in December of 2009 and, just recently, the slogan was legally given to Apple.

Apple has finally approved GV Mobile + for their App Store. This is an indicator that Apple will also start being a bit more competitive with other platforms.
